The aim is to bring women together, empower and equip them with the tools they need to live an independent life. We value women’s worth and their identity which has been damaged and removed too often. This course is adaptable and can be personalised to meet your requirements.
Here is a breakdown of the weeks:-
WEEK ONE: FUTURE FOCUS
This first week will be focused on employability and the key skills required for the workplace or a voluntary organisation. Women should be empowered to return to work and provide for themselves. This week we will also identify our strengths and weaknesses and explore the benefits of goal setting.
WEEK TWO: A BETTER YOU
Week two we will focus on building your confidence and realising your potential. We will equip you with tools so when life's challenges arise you can face them with confidence and boldness.
WEEK THREE: A HEALTHY YOU
This week we will begin to build your resilience and you will develop positive coping strategies to enable you to deal with difficult emotions. When faced with triggering events we want you to recognise the onset of these warning signs and have strategies in place to help cope with these triggers.
WEEK FOUR: A SAFER YOU
This week we want to encourage personal safety in the home and community. The home should be a safe space. We want to encourage women
Þ To want the best for themselves and for their families
Þ To keep themselves safe and secure
Þ To know the importance of communication
WEEK FIVE: MY NEW VISION
Our aim for this week is for all women to see themselves through fresh eyes. You will gain a healthy perspective on your life and be your authentic self. This will include working on self–trust and balancing positive vs negative thoughts.
WEEK SIX: CELEBRATE!
This week we will evaluate our progress over the previous weeks, celebrating the progress you have made within yourself and showing the powerful you.
Certificates for completion of the course will be presented and we can celebrate together as freshly empowered women!
